ELVIS GIVES FINAL FAREWELL

I am a devoted Elvis Presley fan. One evening I was listening to ‘Danny Boy’ through my headphones when I was so moved by the verse which says to come to find my grave and pray for me there that I actually felt that Elvis was communicating with me. I booked a holiday to Graceland and said a silent prayer over his grave. Inwardly I asked him to join his mother and all those who love him in the spirit.

I believe that after a death, those that mourn have at some stage, to let that person go in order that the deceased may pass completely into the next world. If this is true, I wonder what the situation would be in this case where 21 years after his death Elvis is still greatly mourned by so many people?

I too am an Elvis fan but I just can’t imagine him continuing as a musician in the spirit world for all eternity. According to messages received through seances, physical mediumship and trance, famous people no longer retain their fame and status in the spirit world. They become ordinary people and unaffected by the thoughts of adoration etc projected to them. For example, one account from a physical seance claimed that Beethoven had given up music and is now pursuing other spiritual interests. Elvis had a special destiny that was fulfilled. I would imagine that he is now free of the arduous responsibility of being one of the world’s greatest singers.
